Flap Valve :-

i) Function : Similar to that of Rotary Air Lock Valve except difference in principle of operation as reciprocating in place of Rotary.

ii) Available in Types : a) Single Flap b) Double Flap

iii) Construction : Rugged fabricated body from plates along with lap finished flap fitted on to a shaft for perfect sitting on the hopper bottom which shall ensure proper Air Lock.
