Double Cone Valve comes in a closed position. Both cones sit tightly in the seat. Conical surfaces create a tight seal, preventing leakage of powders. Ideal for applications needing dust-free operation. In the opening phase, the actuator lifts or retracts the inner cone. As the cones separate, a gap forms at the seating surface. Material starts flowing from the opening. Because the movement is gradual, it allows controlled discharge. In the Throttling / Regulation and Partially lifting, the cone adjusts the size of the opening. Allows fine control over the flow rate. Particularly helpful for batching, feeding, or dosing applications. Due to the Fully Open Position the inner cone moves fully away from the seat. Maximum flow of powders or pellets.
